Frequently asked questions.

1. What will the services be like?

Our worship service and worship style are contemporary in nature and we remain open to the leading of the Holy Spirit during these times. For example, if we sense the Spirit wanting us to worship longer, or to spend more time in prayer, we will while adjusting as the Spirit leads.

2. What should I wear?

Casual, modest clothing is the norm at Here’s Hope.......pastor included! We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed.

3. What about my kids?

We encourage children to remain with their family during times of worship through music.. At the conclusion of that time, children may attend a class that will be both fun and encouraging, helping them to grow closer to God.

4. Do you ask for money?

We do not make pleas for money. We are a non-profit organization and we exist solely by the contributions of our partners. We do not pass the offering plates, but they are located on a table where anyone wishing to place a contribution may do so.

5. What makes Here's Hope unique?

Here’s Hope is unique in the fact that we are truly focused on honoring God first, while also encouraging and ministering to those attending. We aren’t interested in just “doing church” or having the traditional church service. Pastor Mark often says that if someone comes into our building discouraged or broken, it is more important to encourage and minister to those needs rather than to be concerned about how the church service looks.. Seldom are our services exactly the same from week to week, but they will always be God honoring.

6. What kind of church is Here's Hope?

Although we are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and subscribe to the most recent Baptist Faith and Message, we are completely autonomous; governed by the local body of believers. With the SBC being a convention of churches and not a denomination, we are free to worship and teach in any style as long as it is in agreement with the scriptures and God honoring.
